Alex Brinister Named Shareholder at MSL CPAs and Advisors

Orlando, FL-January 15, 2018 - MSL CPAs and Advisors, a regional certified public accounting and advisory services firm, is proud to announce that Alex Brinister, MSA, has been admitted to the Shareholder group, effective January 1, 2018.  

Alex Brinister was a Senior Manager with MSL's Middle Market Practice Group.  He is the leader of the Firm's Manufacturing and High-Tech Specialty Group, and a member of the Securities and Corporate Finance Group.  Alex has over 22 years of experience in accounting and auditing and works with a variety of clients in various areas, including Public Enterprises, Manufacturing Entities, High‐Tech Companies, Initial Public Offerings and SEC Filings, and Employee Benefit Plans.

Alex manages the audits and other attest engagements for many of the Firm's clients.    He is responsible for scheduling, budgeting, supervising staff, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. Alex works directly with clients' management to develop strong relationships, resolve issues arising during audits, and ensure that engagements are performed in accordance with applicable professional standards and in a manner that is consistent with the client's goals.

Alex is the author of a number of publications in accounting and auditing.  He has also been previously involved in the development of accounting and auditing pronouncements in his home of origin, the Republic of Moldova, as a member of the working group within the Ministry of Finance. He received his M.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and holds a Certified Public Accountant license from Illinois.
