MSL's 40th Anniversary Celebration

Here’s what our clients have to say:

The Big 4-0

Back in 1975, Winston Lovelace, Gene Roby, Bob Ferris, Percy Bell, Warren Saxon and Doug Palmer marked their first year in business from two offices, one in Orlando and the other in Sarasota. Doug remembers a huge project in Jacksonville kept them from having a party that first year. Forty years and many partners later, every MSL office is celebrating. (Yes, we came up for air in the middle of tax season to mark this very special occasion!)

We began our official MSL 40th Anniversary festivities January 30th in Miami. It was also the Grand Opening of our new office on Brickell Avenue. On February 19th we gathered our clients and friends in our Clearwater office. MSL’s Orlando headquarters’ celebration is set for Thursday, June 5th. We are grateful to be celebrating with so many of our clients, some of whom go back to our Lovelace Roby days. Although many things have changed since 1974 (for one thing, the price of gas was only 60 cents a gallon!) our passion for service and dedication to both clients and staff remain the same.

The Ray Bolt Golf Classic
April 16th is always a very special day for us at MSL. We not only celebrate the end of tax season like everyone else, but also the memory of one of MSL’s most beloved partners, Ray Preston Bolt, with an annual golf tournament. The Ray Bolt Classic, sponsored by the Ray Bolt Foundation, attracts many sponsors throughout Florida. The Foundation provides assistance to cancer-related causes and also funds the Ray Bolt Scholarship, given to outstanding students majoring in accounting. See more here about the event, and about last year’s scholarship recipients.

MSL is the Platinum Sponsor for the Ray Bolt Classic, and this year we are honored to have Urban Trust Bank as Silver Sponsor. Please join us in remembering Ray and supporting these worthy causes.
