Jeff Goolsby is a Shareholder and the leader of the Firm’s Tampa office. A member of the Firm’s Senior Housing Practice Group and Healthcare Practice Group, he has over 18 years of public- and private-industry accounting experience, focused on healthcare, senior housing, not-for-profits, middle-market entities, and employee benefit plans.

Jeff’s experience includes managing audit, review, and compilation engagements and performing single audits.  His expertise includes managing the financing process for new facilities, including tax-exempt bonds.  Conducting revenue cycle assessments and due diligence assessments for client acquisition targets, internal control procedural reviews, and transactional accounting consultations are also strengths of his.

Jeff has a talent for delivering recovered revenue to clients by identifying the inefficient collection of revenue, executive fraud, unnecessary penalties, and overpaid property taxes due to improperly recorded fixed assets.  By uncovering performance or billing issues, he has significantly increased collections and recovered write-offs for clients.  With revised collection procedures, Jeff increased cash collections for one company by over $4 million annually.

On the Personal Side:

Jeff lives in South Tampa with his wife Crystal and daughter Bailey.  He loves international travel and is an avid collector of Disney artwork.
